Windows Mixed Reality Hulu VR

Hulu is finally ready to deliver its virtual reality content to Windows Mixed Reality headsets as evidenced by the support included in the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

For now, this means a few applications for the platform are already showing up in the Microsoft Store, with Hulu VR being one of them.

Hulu VR, now available in the Microsoft Store

Hulu VR is an immersive application you can get from the Microsoft Store right now. The app involves a few different experiences.

For instance, you can use Hulu VR to watch Hulu’s lineup of standard 2D shows in immersive VR spaces of your choice, ranging from a movie theater, a tropical beach, and more.

With a lineup of more than 85 pieces of VR content, there’s a lot to choose from.

Some VR content will be available to Windows Mixed Reality headsets exclusively

As part of this launch, Microsoft and Hulu are debuting two pieces of new VR content set to become available only for Windows Mixed Reality headset users for the next 30 days.

The first piece of VR content is called The Driver, an experience racing around a NASCAR track with Jeffrey Earnhardt. The second piece of VR content is called A Curious Mind, which will take you on an immersive journey into the Earth’s most mind-blowing scientific phenomenon and concepts.

In your journey, you will be guided by Dominic Monaghan of Lord of the Rings fame. Trailers are already available for these two pieces of VR content.

You should definitely give the Hulu VR app a try. All you have to do is head to the Microsoft Store and grab it for your Windows Mixed Reality headset. Have fun!

  • I downloaded and installed Microsoft Windows Fall Creators update, two times and both times I had to revert back to a previous version of windows. After downloading my AMD Duel Band Wireless AC 3160 would not work. I completely lost wi fi on my Dell 5755, I would turn it on and it would say no connections found then turn off. I do have the latest drivers available for my wi fi device. When I revert back to previous version of windows my wi fi works fine. The new release did not affect my Ethernet connection, I plugged a cable in and was able to use internet, but no wi fi at all. The current drivers I have installed is Version October 16, 2017 release date. Any help would be appreciated.
