Xbox Live outage

Xbox Live is down for many gamers worldwide.

Xbox Live outage is preventing users from signing in

A lot of Xbox users can’t play their favourite games on their consoles and it seems that the problem is with the servers. Also, apps like Plex, Spotify, or Amazon video can’t be accessed.

According to Xbox Live Service Status, signing into Xbox Live is currently not working:

Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems signing in to Xbox Live. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.

Some of the users are getting errors:

I’m getting code 0x87DD000F can’t sign in and when I do it signs me right back out

For others, it just won’t sync:

It says I’m online says my wifi and wired connection is good..but keeps saying to login into Xbox live and won’t sync with any of my games. Weird. Fix it.

This is not the first time when Xbox services aren’t working this month, and gamers are getting more and more frustrated:

How about compensation for all of us affected by the outage? This is the 3rd time an outage occurred in August.

Xbox is aware of the issue and is working on a fix

The Xbox team is aware of the problem and is trying to fix it as soon as possible:

Stay close, as we will keep you updated with any new development.

Update: it seems like Xbox Live is back up for some, but they still can’t play any games:

It’s back up in Toledo Ohio but it won’t let me play any games online

Furthermore, lots of Xbox users are getting errors at sign in across multiple services. The support team is investigating the issue.
