Xbox Live still down for thousands of users, 0x87dd0006 resurfaces

If you can’t connect to Xbox Live, rest assured, you’re not the only one. This is actually a major issue that has been affecting tens of thousands of users in the last 24 hours.
Despite recent reports that suggest the issue has already been fixed, this is not the case for many gamers. For example, the website DownDetector is still being flooded with user reports that confirm the issue persists for many of them.
As you can see in the screenshot above, there are three main regions affected by this problem: Europe, the East Coast of the US and parts of South America.

Also, many users are still getting error 0x87dd0006 when they try to sign in to their Xbox Live account. Unfortunately, Microsoft has yet to offer more information on the exact issues affecting these titles.
