Xbox Live party system and game invites issues have been fixed
Microsoft resolved a spate of issues that prevented Xbox One users from sending and receiving party and game invites on their console. The service is now back to normal in all areas of Xbox Live, the Redmond giant says.
Over the past couple of days, some Xbox Live services were running into issues that affected the Party and Game Invites features for Xbox One. Nonetheless, Xbox Live itself continued to operate normally during the trouble.
Xbox Support announced in a Twitter post:
We’re seeing reports of issues with party and game invites for some customers. Thank you for your patience while our teams investigate!
A few hours later, Xbox Support tweeted again on Wednesday:
Your party invites should be showing up normally again! Tweet us with any other Xbox support questions, we’re here for you.
It was not immediately clear how many users experienced the problem or how many games were affected. Rocket League was one of the games affected by the issue, for certain.
As a quick reminder, in case you experience other Xbox Live connection issues, go to Microsoft’s Support page and follow the troubleshooting steps listed there.
Have you experienced the same problem as the other Xbox Live users? Is the problem fixed now? Let us know!
