Xbox One will soon offer users the ability to customize the home screen and to copy all the games to an external hard drive. On the Xbox Insider hub, there is a new post that offers detailed information about the upcoming features.

The next major Xbox One update will give users the chance to copy all games and apps back and forth. After the whole game collection has been copied to an external hard drive, you will be able to enjoy the “Copy/move all” selection.

The update also brings the ability to edit and to customize your home screen. The new dashboard will feature an updated feel and look, and individual customization options have become the focus. Users will also be able to change your home screen easily and to customize it in such a way that it will suit your taste and needs. You’ll also get the chance to place favorite games and friends on the home screen. The box can then be placed on the start screen, and you’ll be able to move it around as you do with the pins.

Most Xbox One owners have been expecting such news for quite a while now. They’ve been waiting months to be able to perform these actions. While getting the ability to copy off of your apps and games is indeed a new feature, everyone’s looking forward to editing the home screen. Lots of users have already planned to modify various panels and to add particular contacts that they communicate with all day long.
