Already boasting a comprehensive set of options, Xbox has added 7 more dynamic backgrounds to the list. This takes the total number of dynamic backgrounds available on Xbox Series S and Series X to 55!

The seven released recently are:

  • Pride 2023
  • Black History 2023
  • Hispanic Heritage Month 2023
  • International Women’s Day 2023
  • Gaming and Disability Community 2023
  • Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2023
  • International Day of World’s Indigenous People 2023

First introduced in 2020, Dynamic Backgrounds are a great way to personalize the console and liven up the home screen.

Dynamic backgrounds on Xbox

To set a dynamic background, open Settings > go to General > select Personalization > choose My backgrounds > select Dynamic backgrounds > then choose any from the available options.

Initially, Waves was the only available dynamic background, but Xbox gradually added more. Of late, it has picked up pace, and we can expect more dynamic backgrounds to be added soon!
