Google has lately faced a lot of problems. After all, the company’s stocks are falling, and there are many layoffs. On top of that, the chatbot is constantly malfunctioning and infringes copyrights. In addition, the content it generates is inaccurate. Furthermore, Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, might soon resign.

What problems is Google facing?

The main problem Google is facing is related to Gemini’s content generation. After all, the AI-generated some questionable images with the text-to-image feature. In addition, according to The Verge, Gemini called Elon Musk worse than Adolf Hitler. Furthermore, Google will defend you if the AI commits copyright infringement and you face legal issues.

Gemini’s behavior could be more questionable, mainly because it is a large language model. Thus, researchers are responsible for the type of data Gemini is using. Yet, the AI seems to be left-leaning and biased. Furthermore, Gemini also defends questionable behaviors and sometimes generates content based on predictions. As a result, Gemini keeps generating a lot of problems for Google.

Unfortunately, another problem Google has is employee layoffs due to structural changes. As a result, they created a state of uneasiness among employees. Furthermore, the employee’s salary might remain unchanged in the following months. In addition, the company transferred some employees from one project to another. On top of that, some of them moved to other companies.

In a nutshell, Google is having some tough times facing its problems, and more seem to arise. After all, the company started falling behind Microsoft in the AI race. However, maybe after the company properly patches Gemini and finishes with the structural changes, they will get back up.

Hopefully, Google will change its focus on its issues and try fixing them. Otherwise, the company might lose even more than they already have.

What are your thoughts? Is Google going to make some drastic changes? Let us know in the comments.
