Todoist releases Boards preview, a Universal Windows 10 app

Todoist is one of the most popular task management solutions with dedicated apps for multiple mobile platforms. It appears the company takes user’s feedback seriously, and have released Boards by Todoist for Windows 10. Boards by Todoist is a standalone Windows 10 app which allows users to view Todoist tasks as cards in a Kanban-like pipeline. This makes things a little more productive for teams as they can find out who’s working on what in a project.

Once installed, launch the app and select the project you want to view. All the Todoist tasks of that project will show up automatically as Board cards in the To Do column. As you work on the project, you can move the card from To Do column to “In Progress” or “finished” to let your team know about its progress.

Currently, the Boards support only three colums, To Do, In Progress, and Completed, which are not customizable. The ability to edit labels and changing due dates are not available at the moment. Also, the app works only on Windows 10 and not on any other platform.
