As expected, Microsoft has just started rolling out the Windows 10 November 2019 Update to consumers already running the May 2019 Update. Starting today, the November 2019 Update (or Windows 10 version 1909) is available for “seekers,” which means that you can get it now by checking for updates manually in Windows Update. The Update should be labeled as “Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909”

In case you’re not seeing the update today, Microsoft notes that there may be a compatibility issue preventing you from getting it immediately. If you do see it in Windows Update, the November 2019 Update should install like a regular cumulative update, and the whole process should be pretty quick.

Here are the main new features included in the November 2019 Update, as explained by Microsoft today:

  • Quickly creating an event directly from the Calendar flyout on the Taskbar.
  • Better managing notifications, including a new button at the top of the Action Center and the ability to sort notifications by most recently shown.
  • Integrating OneDrive content online with traditional indexed results in the File Explorer search box.
  • The navigation pane on the Start menu now expands when you hover over it with your mouse to better inform where clicking goes.
  • Using your voice to activate third-party digital assistants from the Lock screen.

As of this writing, we’re not seeing the update on our PCs, just this month’s Patch Tuesday update for Windows 10 version 1903. It may take some time for the November 2019 update to roll out, but please let us know in the comments if you’re able to download it today.
