Someone got Xbox cloud gaming working on their Samsung smart fridge

It was only a matter of time but someone has now gotten Microsoft’s new Xbox cloud gaming service working on a fridge.
That someone is the YouTuber, VapingwithTwisted420, who posted a quick photo and video of the video game streaming service running on his Samsung smart fridge on his Instagram. A full video about the achievement is promised later this week.
Getting Xbox cloud gaming (previously referred to as Project xCloud) working on a smart fridge may seem crazy but it’s actually something that many have been wondering about for a while given that the app is an Android app and Android apps can theoretically work on the Tizen operating system (the OS used by Samsung’s smart fridges). It will be interesting to see what method VapingwithTwisted420 used when he releases his full video in a day or two.
Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming service recently launched on Android smartphones and tablets in several regions and it’s expected to expand to Windows 10 and Xbox consoles in the near future. After hitting a roadblock with Apple’s App Store policies, the game streaming service is also set to come to iPhones and iPads though via web browsers instead of a dedicated app.
While no official confirmation has been made, an Xbox cloud gaming release on Android-powered smart TVs is also expected given the announcement earlier this year of Samsung working with Microsoft on a cloud-base streaming service.
