Windows Mixed Reality is the next big thing for Microsoft, and plenty of Microsoft partners are planning to release headsets just in time for the holiday season. Well, thanks to the latest round of leaks from Microsoft watcher WalkingCat, it turns out that Samsung also wants in on the Windows Mixed Reality game (via The Verge.)

Although WalkingCat provides no source for this leak, the anonymous Twitter user has had a great track record of being right in the past. The photos of the headset reveal the same standard design seen on other Windows Mixed Reality headsets, but with some curious-looking built-in headphones, similar to the ones seen on the Oculus Rift. It also looks as though Samsung could be bundling in the Windows Mixed Reality Motion controllers, or selling them as a separate addition.
Microsoft is holding a Windows Mixed Reality event on October 3rd in San Francisco, and Alex Kipman is expected to speak. We might as well learn more about the Samsung headset then, but for now, consumers interested in Windows Mixed Reality will need to check out the other options releasing later in October. As highlighted at IFA 2017, confirmed headsets range in price from $299 to $450, and include the Dell Visor, Lenovo Explorer, and headsets from both Acer, and HP.
