Steep, the extreme sports video game will be free to play for Xbox Live Gold subscribers this weekend. The game was released back in December on the Xbox One and features various adrenaline-fueled activities such as snowboarding, skiing, wingsuit flying and more.

“After months of updates, tweaks, and a free expansion that adds the peaks of Alaska’s Denali to its snowy open world, shredding down the pristine slopes of Steep is better than ever,” explained Ubisoft’s Mikel Reparaz on Xbox Wire. Here is the game’s official description:

Ride a massive open world across the Alps, where the powder is always fresh and the run never ends. Tame the wilderness on the American continent in the Alaska free update, a new region filled with challenges. The mountain is yours to explore. So strap in, suit up, and drop in.

The free play weekend will kick off Friday, March 10 at 10AM PST and last through Sunday, March 12 at 11:39. Last but not least, you will be able take advantage of a 40% discount on Steem’s standard and gold editions through Monday, March 13. If you’re an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you’ll see the game being featured on the Xbox One dashboard where you’ll be able to download it.
