Back in E3 of 2014, No Man’s Sky captured the worlds attention. Unlike traditional games, the science fiction title came across as different, as it featured no narrative. The focus was instead on uncovering, interacting, and learning different languages from alien races across the game’s 18 billion planets. It’s been two years since then, but the game is now finally seeing a June 21st release date.

No Man’s Sky will be a PS4 timed exclusive on consoles, but it will also release on Windows through Steam at the same time. While Sony has plans to make retail and limited edition copies of the game, according to the developer’s website, the pre-order price for the Steam version is $59.99.

In the game you will be able to record a planet’s lifeforms and then upload them to earn an in game currency. If you’re not in the mood to record the lifeforms, you also can hunt them down and cause mayhem, with consequences of course.

If you’re interested in the title, it is best to sign up for the developer’s newsletter or pre-order by visiting their website. Once the game does launch, we will bring you more coverage, so stay tuned!
