Microsoft is getting active in the X Games arena, in addition to, tossing their hat into the eSports ring with the most recent event being the launch of the Halo World Championship Tour at the upcoming X Games Aspen Invitational 2016. The Skype team doesn’t want to be left out, and so they’ve created a Skype account that will let you interact with some of the most famous X Games athletes at the event.

X Games

To get involved, you’ll need to add XGAMES2016 as a Skype contact. Microsoft was nice enough to provide instructions:

1. Add XGAMES2016 as a contact
2. If you don’t already have Skype, download it here
3. Start a new Skype conversation with XGAMES2016 and get closer to the athletes

Once you’re on board, you’ll be able to interact with Sage Kotsenburg, Gus Kenworthy, Maggie Voisin, Tom Wallisch, and Maddie Bowman. If you’re into the X Games scene, you’ll likely know those names.

Follow Skype on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and #SkypeXGames to keep up with things. We’ll be sure to let you know if anything exciting happens–at least where Microsoft is concerned.
