The Division, the highly anticipated game developed by Ubisoft Massive is now available to download on Xbox One and PC. Today’s release follows a public beta for the game which drew 6.4 million players, which represents the biggest beta for a new game brand on current generation platforms so far. However, the open beta was not enough to guarantee a smooth launch, and Ubisoft acknowledged that some players have been unable to play the game due to server issues and high initial demand.
The Division will cost you $59.99, but those who buy the game’s Season Pass, Gold Edition, or Collector’s Editions on Xbox One will get a thirty-day window of exclusivity for the game’s first two expansion releases. Please find the full game description below:
New-York City, today. An unprecedented pandemic has struck the city during the fever of Black Friday. One by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. You’re part of the Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents trained to operate independently. Your mission: protect what remains and restore hope. Fight your way through a breath-taking urban jungle dragged into chaos. As a member of the Division, customize your Agent, loot and upgrade your equipment with state-of-the art technology. Take back New York City from hostile factions, alone or with your friends.
Tetraminos is another game being released on Xbox One today. If you have already played the cult-classic game Tetris, Tetraminos features the same puzzle arcade game experience with lines to complete by using different shapes of blocks dropping with an increasing speed. The game will cost you $9.99 on the Xbox Store, and you can find the full description below:
For beginners or veterans, Tetraminos offers an easy-to-learn, limitless challenge. Give your brain a workout with the 50 Puzzle mode levels, survive as long as possible in Endless mode and rack up the combos and same-colour lines to climb to first place in the online ranking. Challenge your friends in local Versus mode with up to 4 players and sabotage their boards in wild games.
We’ll share our first impressions of The Division in the coming days, please tell us in the comments if you plan to get it on your Xbox One!
