Microsoft is holding a special digital event themed towards Microsoft 365 on Thursday, February 4 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. The event is set to feature CEO Satya Nadella and Jared Spataro, who will both apparently “discuss ways to transform the employee experience.”

Not many details are known about what’s expected, but it is likely to include news about Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise. Many Microsoft executives or employees, including Microsoft 365 CVP Jeff Teper, and GM of Office 365 Product Marketing, Seth Patton have been spotted promoting the event on Twitter.

You can currently save the date for the event and add it to your calendar. The calendar invite mentions that the event is about Microsoft’s commitment to “empower people and teams be their best.” Microsoft also mentions that you’ll “see new ways to bring together communications, knowledge, learning, resources, and insights with everyday work.”

It’s been a while since we had a dedicated digital Microsoft event, themed towards Surface, or even Microsoft 365. Microsoft last had a closed-door press event for the Surface Duo late last year. Then, before that, the company held another closed-door event on March 30 which was themed towards Microsoft 365 Personal and Family, and the rebranding of most Office 365 subscriptions to Microsoft 365.

Since this event is being promoted on Twitter, it’s likely to be public, for everyone to see. We’ll be keeping an eye on this and plan to watch, so be sure to keep tuned to OnMSFT next week for more.
