Exciting future ahead of WinBeta with leadership changes, and a $50 Windows Store gift card for you

Over the past few years, we’ve grown to the point where we provide you with the latest Microsoft news, encompassing hardware, software, and more. Our goal has always been to remain as neutral as possible when it comes to bringing you the latest news, with the exception of certain features and editorials. This will continue to be our style. But, as things become repetitive and competitive, there comes a time for positive change.

Effective immediately, there will be some new leadership changes here at WinBeta. I am pleased to announce that Michael Archambault is now our new Managing Editor, leading our entire site and team into the future. Michael comes with a lot of experience and he will be utilizing that experience to make us better. We’ve also restructured our entire team with a renewed focus on all-things Microsoft.

Everyone’s favorite guy Zac will be taking on a different role, leading our team with Microsoft content now that Windows 9 is right around the corner. Expect more Windows 9 related news, videos, and reviews!

Michael and Zac join our entire team consisting of Alan, Hammad, Manish, Dilraj, Joseph, Fahad, and myself.

So what does this mean? We’re still going to remain as neutral as possible when it comes to reporting news. Expect to see more features, reviews, and interviews. We are aiming to be the best damn Microsoft news site period. That’s not just a cheesy slogan, its our goal. Our mission. Something we wake up in the morning and strive to achieve. We are excited to be embarking on this new adventure and we hope you come along for the ride.

As a thank you to our readers, we’re offering a Windows Store gift card worth $50. You can use it to purchase apps and games in either the Windows Store or Windows Phone Store, so you can finally purchase that app or game you have been eyeing for a while now.
