Hey everyone, Build 2016 is almost upon us. For those wondering, Build is Microsoft’s big developer conference that takes place March 30th to April 1st. Lots of excitement is in the air for Build 2016, as we all anticipate what Microsoft has in store for its developers. Build is a big deal — it sold out within minutes when Microsoft opened up registration. So what can you expect?
A live stream will be available on March 30th. We have put together a dedicated Build 2016 page on WinBeta.org which showcases the live stream, as well as a comments section so you can voice your opinion as the event unfolds. You can reach the dedicated Build 2016 stream/comments page here and the Build 2016 news story archives here.
We’ll be in San Francisco for the event and will be walking around meeting people, attending the Build keynotes and sessions, and snapping photographs. Build 2016 is already shaping up to be quite awesome for app developers — with a session that goes over two “highly-requested surprises” for Live Tiles and a session that promises to be “something awesome.” Some new Windows 10 features are expected to be explored during the event and are expected to “freak you out” in a good way. There is another session that goes over Universal Windows Platform development for the Xbox, which is quite interesting!
Stay tuned, this week promises to be quite important in the world of Microsoft and Windows developers. Let’s see if it lives up to the hype. As always, keep an eye on WinBeta.org for all your Microsoft news.
