Microsoft announces 2014 Partner of the Year Award winners and finalists

Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference kicks off in July and ahead of the event, the finalists and winners of the 2014 Partner of the Year Award have been revealed. With more than 3,200 nominations, there was stiff competition from well-known names and the less familiar.

Phil Sorgen, Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Partner Group said in a blog post that he was “thrilled to announce” the list, picking out Dell’s win of the Windows 8 Application Developer Partner of the Year Award as one of the highlights. In the Office and SharePoint App Developer category, it was DocuSign who walked away with an award.

A great focus for the new Microsoft is the cloud, and the Devices and Deployment Partner of the Year Award went to the Netherlands’ Wortell for helping the healthcare system with a series of cloud services.

The truly global collection of awards included participants from 112 countries and the judging process involved more than 600 experts, and you can browse through the full list over on the Worldwide Partner Conference website.
