Microsoft Clipchamp will be enhanced with advanced editing capabilities that will go hand in hand with the camera, allowing the platform to seamlessly switch between the editor and the camera to work on videos.
The new enhancement was announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, and it will impact Clipchamp on the Web.
Here’s what the entry says:
This aligns the capture experience in camera and editor by enabling a seamless switch to the Clipchamp editor to make videos more appealing and impactful using advanced edit capabilities.
At the same time, Clipchamp will also allow users to create their own templates and monetize them through their organizations. But they can also be used for personal reasons.
This was too added in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap. Here’s the entry:
Users can create their own Clipchamp templates for personal use or distribution across an organization via brand kits.
The two new capabilities are coming to the platform in January 2025.
Speaking of the Clipchamp editor, it has recently been enhanced to support automatic image removal and noise suppression, meaning you can easily edit your video files professionally, even if you lack experience with editing.
