Warcraft I reforged

Blizzard Entertainment has announced remastered versions of the original Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.

The remasters were revealed during the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct presentation and are available now on Battle.net, which is unexpected given that some of the information that leaked last week pointed to a 2025 release.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans—Remastered enhances the 1994 game for modern audiences with a new UI. The gameplay keeps the classic experience, but it adds health bars, a higher unit selection count, hotkeys, and a gallery of never-before-seen artwork.

Players can also switch between the classic and the reforged edition.

The remastered edition of 1995’s Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness includes the campaign and the storyline of the Dark Portal expansion.

It features hand-painted artwork, modernized UI, and more. Blizzard says it has also uncompressed and rebalanced the game’s music. The remaster supports multiplayer, with up to eight players.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans – Remastered is available solo for $9.99, while Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness – Remastered is available for $14.99.

Additionally, there’s a $39.99 Battle Chest bundle that includes both remasters, the original two games, and the Warcraft III: Reforged edition, but if you own the Reforged edition of Warcraft III, you’ll only pay $20 for it.
