viva engage feed card

A new feed card for Viva Engage conversations in the Viva Connection dashboard will connect the apps, allowing users to view and interact with their Engage feed directly in the Connections app.

However, the admins/operators will need to enable the option first. According to a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, they will need to add the Engage card to their tenant Viva Connections dashboard.

Users can then interact directly with the Viva Engage feed conversations in Connections without leaving the app.

Here’s what the entry says:

We’re excited to announce a new integration between Viva Engage and Viva Connections—an Engage feed card in the Connections dashboard. Users will be able to view and interact with their Viva Engage feed conversations directly in Viva Connections through a new card in the dashboard. This is possible when the admins/operators add the Engage card into their tenant Viva Connections dashboard. Users can then click on the card to engage with their Viva Engage feed conversations directly in Viva Connections without being redirected out of the app.

Microsoft will preview the new feed card in Viva Engage in February 2025, followed by a general release in April.

In other news, talking about another integration in the platform, Viva Engage’s Storyline will soon be included in Microsoft Teams.
