Sony Removes Over 1,000 Games from One Publisher on PlayStation Store
Sony appears to be on a cleaning up of the PlayStation Store, and one publisher is reportedly taking the biggest hit. Over the past few days, more than 1,000 digital PlayStation games from a single publisher have quietly disappeared from the storefront. The publisher in question is ThiGames, a German publisher popular for its lineup of ultra-cheap, trophy-focused titles.
According to trophy hunter and streamer RobThanatos on X, ThiGames’ entire catalog of at least 1,196 games has been delisted. The publisher previously ranked as the fourth-most prolific on the PlayStation Store, despite many of its releases being near-identical experiences. A quick look at the removed titles explains why they stood out.
Games like The Jumping Burger asked players to do little more than press a button to make a character jump, unlocking a Platinum trophy in under five minutes. Variants such as The Jumping Burger: Turbo reduced that time to well under two minutes. The publisher reportedly built an entire lineup around this formula. Titles like The Jumping Taco, The Jumping Pizza, The Jumping Churros, and The Jumping Nuggets all followed the same pattern, alongside similarly shallow platformers and racers.
Most of these games sold for $1.50 to $3, often bundled into heavy discounts during major PlayStation Store sales. While many trophy hunters were quite happy about these games, many found them to be cluttering the Store. Sony has not officially commented on the delistings, and ThiGames has yet to respond publicly.
