Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced Release Date Leaks, It's Coming in July
Official reveal has reportedly been postponed to next week
If you have been keeping tabs on leaks and rumors about Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, the good news is that the game is much closer than expected. A new report from Insider Gaming now points to a release date, alongside a few early details about what Ubisoft has been working on behind the scenes.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is launching on July 9
Per the news outlet, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is scheduled to release on July 9, 2026. The report further claims that Ubisoft had initially planned to reveal the game on April 16, which we corroborated in our report from earlier today. But, it seems the official reveal has now been pushed to sometime next week. At this point, the exact date for the reveal hasn’t been mentioned in the report.
Interestingly, media and content creators have already seen the game in a private session. The showcase reportedly ran for around 30 minutes, giving an early look at what’s coming. From what’s being reported, this isn’t just a basic remaster. The game has been “completely reworked,” with new content and updates layered on top of the original experience.
While full details are still under wraps, early impressions suggest a noticeable upgrade across the board. Ubisoft’s statement from the closed-door presentation suggests that Black Flag Resynced is not shifting into RPG territory. “This remains a solo adventure and character-driven experience. It is not an RPG,” noted Ubisoft.
As of now, Ubisoft hasn’t officially confirmed the release date nor the official reveal. However, with a reveal reportedly delayed by just a few days, it feels like a proper announcement is right around the corner.
