Asha Sharma Confirms Xbox "Working" On Dynamic Background for New Logo
The response from Xbox CEO came following a fan request on X
Last week, Xbox unveiled its new logo that features a glass-like effect, which many fans loved. Well, shortly after the redesigned logo started making rounds online, players began asking for a dynamic background version on Xbox consoles. The good news for fans is that the request didn’t go unnoticed.
Xbox responds quickly to fan demand for dynamic background for new logo
Over on X, a fan asked whether the new logo could be turned into a dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S. In response, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma replied with a simple but telling update, saying Xbox is already “working on it!” (via TrueAchievements).
Although the repose is short, it suggests that Xbox is now actively considering user feedback in real time, rather than letting requests sit for months. Not to forget, when Asha Sharma and Matt Booty announced big plans for Xbox last week, both added that “our new north star will be daily active players.”
That’s not all, the announcement also included work to be done through four priorities, among which “Experience” is also one. Speaking of which, Xbox has promised to “overhaul discovery, customization, social, and personalization to connect the community.”
At a time when platform updates often feel slow, which Asha Sharma acknowledged recently, this kind of quick acknowledgment from leadership gives a positive impression to fans. As of now, there are no details, yet on what the final implementation will look like or when it might arrive.
But the fact that the idea moved from a fan suggestion to a confirmed work-in-progress so quickly shows a shift in how Xbox is handling community input. Not to forget, recently Asha Sharma also directly acknowledged a post from an Xbox Insider who claimed that the recent achievement update “bricked” their console. You can read more about it here.
