Xbox Free Play Days Brings Battlefield 6 & More This Weekend (May 14–17)
It’s Thursday, and we are back with another Xbox Free Play Days lineup, courtesy of the usual Reddit leaker Oliomono. To catch you up, last weekend’s Free Play Days lineup included only two games, CATAN and Deadside. The good news is that this weekend, players have more titles to play.
This weekend, from today, May 14 through Sunday, May 17, you’ll have at least three games as part of the Xbox Free Play Days window. Notably, the list includes games like Battlefield 6, Bassmaster Fishing, and JDM: Japanese Drift Master.
As of now, none of these games are available to play as part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog. That said, back in February, Xbox did include Battlefield 6 in the Free Play Days lineup.
As of now, it’s unclear whether the aforementioned games would require players to have Game Pass subscriptions to play free through the weekend. However, at the time, Battlefield 6 was available to play free with Game Pass membership. So, it’s highly likely that you’ll need one to play it for free this weekend as well.
All that said, it goes without saying that we might see some more games added to the lineup later in the day when Microsoft officially announces this weekend’s Free Play Days lineup. Not to forget, all the aforementioned games are now available to buy at heavy discounts. For example, you can grab Battlefield 6 at 45% off, Bassmaster Fishing at 80% off, and JDM: Japanese Drift Master at 40% off.
