XBOX Game Pass July Wave 2 Lineup Adds Halo: Campaign Evolved, Beast of Reincarnation & More

Microsoft has announced another packed schedule for XBOX Game Pass members as part of July Wave 2 lineup. The lineup includes mix of day-one launches, returning classics, and brand-new experiences over the next two weeks. The highlight of the latest lineup is undoubtedly Halo: Campaign Evolved, a modern remake of the original Halo campaign. However, that’s far from the only major addition. Subscribers can also look forward to Hell is Us, Beast of Reincarnation, Mistfall Hunter, and several other games arriving before August begins.

Halo headlines another strong Xbox Game Pass update

The biggest addition is undoubtedly Halo: Campaign Evolved, which launches on July 28 as a day-one Xbox Game Pass release. Microsoft describes it as a rebuilt version of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign. The remake features upgraded visuals, refined controls, online co-op for up to four players, three brand-new missions, additional weapons, fresh enemy types, and new vehicles.

Before Halo arrives, subscribers can jump into Shift at Midnight on July 22. The co-op horror detective game launches day one on Game Pass. Hell is Us follows on July 23. The action-adventure title combines brutal melee combat with open-ended exploration and mystery-driven storytelling.

More day-one games are arriving before August

Microsoft has several more releases planned during the final week of July. Mistfall Hunter joins Game Pass on July 30. The extraction action RPG lets players explore a dark fantasy world alone or with friends.

Corsair Cove lands on July 31 for PC players. The pirate-themed city builder focuses on expanding settlements, managing production chains, and commanding a growing fleet. August begins with two more notable additions.

Heretic + Hexen arrives on August 4, bringing enhanced versions of the classic fantasy shooters to modern platforms. The same day also marks the launch of Beast of Reincarnation, Game Freak’s brand-new action RPG. The game blends real-time combat with turn-based mechanics and follows Emma and her canine companion through a post-apocalyptic Japan.
