Just a day after releasing multiple Windows 11 Insider builds across different channels, Microsoft is back with another update. The company has now started rolling out Windows 11 Insider Experimental (26H1) Preview Build 28120.2546, bringing a handful of quality-of-life improvements, accessibility enhancements, and bug fixes for testers in the Experimental channel.

Windows 11 Experimental Build 28120.2546 focuses on accessibility and reliability

Unlike yesterday’s feature-packed releases, this build is relatively small. Microsoft says it mainly includes general improvements and fixes aimed at improving the overall experience for Windows Insiders.

One of the biggest additions is expanded support for smart card removal policies. IT administrators can now configure Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 sessions that use Microsoft Entra ID authentication to automatically disconnect when a redirected smart card is removed. This helps organizations strengthen security and meet compliance requirements.
Accessibility also gets a notable upgrade.

Narrator now supports braille displays that use the HID industry standard, allowing compatible devices to work instantly over USB without requiring additional setup. Bluetooth HID braille displays are also easier to pair, and these devices now function during the Windows setup experience (OOBE), making it possible for users who are deaf-blind to configure a new PC independently from the very first screen.

Microsoft is also expanding Voice Access by adding support for Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), and Korean (South Korea).
Elsewhere, the company has made the Bluetooth Quick Settings panel navigable with a gamepad, fixed a crash affecting the Graphics page in the Settings app, and improved system sounds when Windows is running in dark mode.
