YouTube Premium Users in the US to Get Peacock Premium Bundled Soon

YouTube Premium is about to become an even better deal for millions of subscribers. Google has announced that eligible YouTube Premium members in the U.S. will soon receive Peacock Premium as part of their existing subscription, unlocking even more content without paying extra.

The rollout won’t happen immediately, but Google says additional details and launch dates will arrive in the coming months.

Peacock brings sports, movies, and hit NBC shows

The upcoming benefit gives eligible subscribers access to the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan. That means YouTube Premium members can watch Peacock’s growing catalog of entertainment alongside the features they already receive.

Subscribers will continue enjoying ad-free YouTube, background playback, offline downloads, and YouTube Music. On top of that, they’ll soon gain access to Peacock’s lineup of blockbuster Universal films, original series, and live sports.

As you may know, Peacock is home to major sporting events, including the NFL and NBA, along with popular shows such as Saturday Night Live, Love Island USA, and Law & Order: SVU.

More streaming options are on the way

Speaking of flexibility, Google also confirmed that subscribers will be able to upgrade their Peacock membership if they want additional features beyond the included plan.

The company is also preparing international bundle options, although it hasn’t revealed which countries will receive them first.

That isn’t the only change coming from the expanded partnership. A selection of live sporting events from NBCUniversal will also stream through the NBC Sports YouTube channel, giving millions of viewers another way to watch major events.

Google says the partnership is designed to give subscribers more entertainment choices through a single membership. More information, including availability and rollout timing, will be shared with eligible YouTube Premium subscribers over the coming months.
