Helldivers 2 & Warhammer 40,000 Legendary Warbond Crossover Releases on August 12

Helldivers 2 has never been shy about embracing over-the-top warfare. Now, Arrowhead is taking things even further with one of the game’s biggest collabs yet. Warhammer 40,000 is officially marching onto the battlefield, bringing iconic gear inspired by one of its most legendary military forces. The crossover has been rumored for months. It’s now real, and it arrives in just a couple of weeks.

The Cadian Kasrkin inspire Helldivers 2’s newest Warbond

Arrowhead has officially announced the Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000: Castellan’s Creed Legendary Warbond, launching on August 12 for all players. The premium Warbond draws inspiration from the Cadian Kasrkin, an elite regiment from Warhammer 40,000’s Astra Militarum. According to the developers, the equipment also honors Helldivers who defended Chara during the First Galactic War.

Players will unlock an entirely new arsenal built around the Warhammer universe. The lineup includes the R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle, P/40-K Bolt Pistol, 40-K Meltagun Stratagem, and the G/40-K Meltamine throwable explosive.

New armor, cosmetics and a unique passive

The Warbond also introduces two new armor sets. The TG-8 Sharpshooter medium armor and TG-122 Demo-Trooper heavy armor both feature the new True Grit passive. It grants +20 weapon handling alongside a 30% reload speed bonus for support weapons.

Speaking of customization, players will also receive two new capes, matching player cards, the Still Standing title, and the Castellan’s Green weapon and armor pattern.

Arrowhead also confirmed that the Legendary Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits, and normal progression to unlock. Unlike previous Premium Warbonds, Premium Warbond tokens cannot be used to claim this collaboration.
