GTA 6 Extended Look Release Date Set for August 27, Premieres on Netflix First

GTA 6 fans have spent weeks wondering when Rockstar Games would finally reveal something new. Trailer 3 rumors have dominated social media almost every day. Now, the studio has officially answered those questions. And it isn’t another rumor this time.

Rockstar Games has officially announced GTA 6: An Extended Look, a brand-new showcase scheduled to premiere on August 27. Rather than debuting on YouTube first, the showcase will premiere on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET.

Alongside the reveal, the company also published a dedicated Netflix page for the GTA 6 Extended Look. Not long after the original announcement, Rockstar confirmed another important detail. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will also be released on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the official GTA 6 website later that evening.

According to Rockstar, YouTube and the GTA 6 website will showcase the extended look at 9 p.m. ET, roughly six hours after its Netflix premiere. Rockstar hasn’t revealed exactly what the presentation will include. Based on the title, however, fans can likely expect a deeper look at GTA 6 than the previous trailers offered. Whether that includes fresh gameplay, developer commentary, or additional story details remains unknown.
