Forza Horizon 6 launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, 2026, leaving PlayStation 5 players waiting for Microsoft’s promised post-launch release. Now, a new report claims that the wait could finally end on January 26, 2027.

Forza Horizon 6 could launch on PS5 with a physical edition

The PS5 release date for Forza Horizon 6 comes from reliable Dealabs reporter and prominent tipster, billbil-kun, who has a strong track record with gaming release and pricing leaks. According to the report, Microsoft is targeting January 26 for the PS5 version, meaning the game would miss its previously announced 2026 window.

The tipster claims that Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PS5 with both digital and physical editions on the same day. That’s notable because Forza Horizon 5 launched on PS5 without a physical disc release.

The standard PS5 edition is reportedly priced at €69.99 in Europe and £59.99 in the UK, matching the game’s Xbox pricing. Dealabs expects the US price to be $69.99, although Playground Games has yet to confirm it.There is still some uncertainty around the PS5 Premium Edition.

The timing also contradicts Playground Games‘ most recent official messaging. The developer said in September that Forza Horizon 6 was still scheduled to release on PS5 later in 2026. According to Dealabs, an official announcement could arrive this week, with PS5 pre-orders expected to open around the same time.
