Lenovo is one of the biggest computer and laptop manufacturers in the world and it releases new products almost every week. Now, the company has announced the Lenovo Flex 10, a cheap Windows 8.1 laptop that can be used in dual-mode
The Lenovo Flex 10 is a cheap Windows 8.1 touch convertible notebook that is perfect if you want to benefit from its portability and the touch interface of Windows 8. The Flex 10 flips 300 degrees from laptop to stand mode, making it perfect to enjoy movies or to use touch applications. So, if you’re not using the keyboard, you can just flips its screen to see some pictures or watch the latest episode from your favorite show. We don’t know yet its official pricing, but it is rumored to be around $550.
It comes with a 10.1″ 10-point multitouch display that is optimized for Windows 8.1. The Flex 10 is less than 1″ thick and weighs less than 3 pounds – 17.3mm (0.68″) thick and weighs 1.2kg (2.6 lbs). You will find the ergonomic AccuType keyboard, stereo speakers, Â integrated 720P HD webcam inside. It has a 1,366 x 768 resolution and a Bay Trail Pentium or Celeron processor instead of Haswell. Its battery life is said to last only up to 4 hours with a standard 3-cell battery, which is probably its biggest drawback. It also comes with the Lenovo Energy Manager software to increase battery life and the Veriface Pro face recognition software.
