ubisoft plus

Ubisoft fans this one is for you, and boy do we have some great news to share with everyone today. Your favorite gaming creators are preparing a lot of goodies for you in 2022.

Besides the big reveal of the upcoming arrival of Rainbow Six Extraction to all Xbox Game Pass subscriptions ever since its launch, they also announced that Ubisoft+ is incoming to Xbox consoles.

Ubisoft Plus was originally launched for PC and includes access to more than 100 Ubisoft games, including new titles such as Far Cry 6, at the price of $14.99 per month.

Ubisoft+ will grant free access to DLCs and expansions

Just like any other gaming subscription, Ubisoft+ offers its members access to a curated games library for a monthly cost, as we mentioned above.

When it first came out, back in 2019, it was called Uplay+, becoming  Ubisoft+ last year, and also expanding its reach from just PC to Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.

Besides granting you early access to all the new Ubisoft games, this subscription service also boasts access to most games’ DLC and expansions at no extra cost.

Now this is something that a lot of fans were surely waiting on their favorite company to do, and the fact that the service is also coming to Xbox is an unexpected bonus for them.

We know that, once the announcement has been made, a lot of people have started growing impatient and are wondering when this will start becoming available.

Unfortunately, no specific dates were given as to when Xbox console owners can expect to get their hands on the subscription.

However surprising this would be for some people, this is actually not the first time a major publisher has brought over their subscription service to a console platform.

Other examples include EA bringing EA Play to Xbox, as well as PlayStation some years ago. And who knows, maybe we’ll even see other studios do the same and come up with their own subscription services.

The question on everyone’s lips right now is if this service will be an Xbox exclusive, or if it will at some point also become available for PlayStation users as well.
