A new limited edition Gears 5 Xbox controller could be on the way

A Twitter use by the name of Idle Sloth (via CB) has posted images of, what appear to be, leaked pics of a new Xbox controller inspired by the upcoming Gears 5 video game.

As can be seen in the images below, this new controller features a pretty cool white metal design with imagery from the video game series on the front and rear.

It’s unclear if these images are legit or fakes but a Gears 5 Xbox controller being released around the launch of the game isn’t that crazy of an idea at all. In fact, it would actually be kind of crazy if Microsoft didn’t make one given their habit of releasing different versions of their Xbox controller for gamers and collectors alike on a pretty regular basis.

If they can make an Xbox controller inspired by Fortnite, they can definitely release one for Gears 5, an Xbox exclusive title.
