Windows 11 24H2 LTSC

After getting the first images of the Windows 11 LTSC, back in February, it seems that the operating system has leaked ahead of its release, and it’s based on the upcoming 24H2 build 26100.1.

Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC was announced by Microsoft in 2023, it currently has no specific release date (although, it’s slated for release in the second half of 2024), but despite these, the operating system has leaked on Chinese forums.

However, enthusiasts should avoid installing it on proper machines, as it’s not safe to do so. If they want to install it, though, they should proceed with caution.

Back in February, we speculated that the operating system might come with 3 features:

  1. There is a subscription-based version of the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC mentioned in the installation setup. We don’t have any details related to the price, or date of payment, but it could be other monthly or yearly.
  2. According to the leaked screenshots, the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC will feature the new Outlook for Windows which replaces the native Mail&Calendar (which are to be deprecated, by the way).
  3. The Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC will most likely be based on the upcoming Windows 11 24H2, which was officially mentioned by Microsoft in one of their documents, so it might also bring AI capabilities such as Copilot to the operating system.

Now, that we have the first images of the Windows 11 LTSC, it’s confirmed that the OS is based on the 24H2 version, with the build 26100.1 being its base, as you can see in the featured image.

Microsoft confirmed in 2023 that Windows 11 LTSC is coming out later in 2024, probably slated for September/October 2024, which makes sense as the 24H2, also known as the 2024 Update is also slated for release around that date.

You can download the leaked version by accessing this link, however, we don’t advise you to.
