Microsoft’s Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, tweeted earlier today that almost half of Xbox One users play Xbox 360 video games on the console through the backwards compatibility feature that launched last year. “Now over 300 back compat titles. Nearly 50% of XB1 owners playing BC games is great to see,” his tweet read. “Thanks for supporting the program.”

The number of Xbox 360 titles that are playable on the Xbox One have gradually increased on a regular basis and the feature recently passed the 300 video games mark. There are still a large number of Xbox 360 games that have yet to be given backwards compatibility but most of the more popular titles are now available.
Are you a fan of the backwards compatibility feature? How many Xbox 360 video games have you played on the Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below.
