ASUS launches the powerful ROG Zephyrus, a Windows 10 gaming laptop

At Computex, ASUS ROG revealed its newest line-up of gaming gear.

High-quality gaming experience with portability

The ROG Zephyrus offers users a next-gen gaming experience on Windows 10. The machines come with the Xbox app and Direct X12 so you can enjoy Xbox Play Anywhere. You’ll also get to use Cortana as your personal assistant along with security in the form of Windows Defender.

The machine is powered by the newest Intel Core i7 processor for a high-quality gaming experience and excellent portability. It features the top-of-the-lineNVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics (the GTX 1080) for amazing visuals and is also VR Ready.

Audio features

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus features Sonic Studio II, an audio suite that offers six audio controls including Bass Boost, Reverb, Equalizer, Voice Clarity, Surround, and Smart EQ. Surround is dedicated for its 2-channel headset and offers one of the best virtual surround technologies when it comes to gaming.

Great keyboard for customized gaming featuring ROG Aura

The ROG Zephyrus features a keyboard with improved features for gaming with a brand new type of trackpad located to the right side of the keyboard. This will offer ideal gaming usage that doubles the numeric keyboard. The new feature called ROG Aura allows you to customize dynamic light effects on the WASD and QWERTY key groups along with the entire keyboard for personalized gaming.

The design is ultra-slim and portable, coming in at 0.7 inches thick and weighing in at 4.85 lbs. Its design is created in such a way that it increases air flow for cooler, more stable gaming sessions.
