chatgpt archive conversation

ChatGPT is an incredibly useful tool that many, including us, use daily to help with various tasks.

But did you know that you can archive your chats and access them later? If not, this guide will show you the way to do it.

How do I archive ChatGPT conversations?

If you use ChatGPT often, and you want to save an important conversation so you can go back to it later, then you might want to consider archiving your conversations.

This feature has been present for a few months now, and not many know about it since it’s not easy to find your archived conversations.

However, Tom’s Guide has a guide that will help you archive and find your conversations. You just need to do the following:

  1. Open ChatGPT and log in with your account.
  2. Hover over the conversation you want to archive in the sidebar. Click the Archive icon.

  3. Next, click your username in the bottom left and choose Settings.
  4. In the Archived chats section click on Manage.
  5. You’ll now see the list of all archived chats. To restore a chat, simply click on it.

This is a useful feature, but keep in mind that you can’t continue archived chats.

If you’re a fan of ChatGPT, you should know that GPT-5 and Llama 3 might be coming sooner than you think.

Many are also claiming that Copilot doesn’t work as well as ChatGPT, and this is the reason why they prefer one over the other.
