Microsoft’s Xbox One has seen many great changes this year. From Backward Compatibility to a new dashboard experience, the Xbox One experience has gotten better and better. Back in October of 2015, however, Microsoft had promised that Cortana would also be coming to Xbox One. Today, we can report to you that there is some progress in the process of bringing the digital assistant to the Xbox One.
Responding to a Xbox fan’s question about the progress of Cortana on Xbox One, Xbox’s Mike Ybarra stated:
@LODsqua Saw a demo from the team today, coming along great.

While the Tweet offers us no specifics on the situations, it is now apparent that Microsoft is hard at work at bringing Cortana over to Xbox One. With no release date for this functionality as of yet, Microsoft has still previously confirmed that Cortana functionality on Xbox one will require a Kinect sensor.
Until release, you can stay tuned to us here at WinBeta for further details on the situation. We will most definitely update you once Cortana officially launches on Xbox One.
