CrossFireX is now available on Xbox One for Xbox Insiders with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions as a closed beta. The game will be available for everyone else as an open beta starting on June 25, 2020. CrossFireX offers gameplay similar to Counter Strike, and is a massively popular online PC game title throughout Asia.

As noted in a post on Xbox Wire, the CrossfireX open beta is available starting June 25, 2020, with the closed beta available starting today for Xbox Insiders with active Xbox Live subscriptions. CrossfireX is available exclusively on Xbox One.

Here is how you can install the CrossFireX closed beta:

  1. On Xbox One, sign-in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app.
  2. Navigate to Insider content, select Games, then search for/select the CrossfireX BETA.
  3. Select Join.
  4. Wait for the registration to complete to be directed to the Store and install the CrossfireX Beta.

Remedy Entertainment, the game developer behind Alan Wake and Quantum Break, is currently working on a single player campaign for CrossFireX. Xbox Insiders can join the closed beta today via the Xbox Insider Hub app on Xbox One. Act fast, there are limited spots available!
