A couple of weeks after Custom Gamerpics started to roll out to Xbox Insiders on the Preview Alpha Ring, Preview Ring 3 & 4 participants can now upload their own profile image on Xbox Live. According to Xbox’s Brad Rossetti, the new feature should automatically appear in the profile section of the Xbox One dashboard, but Xbox Insiders who don’t see the option yet can reboot their console to enable it.
Xbox One Insiders – Preview Ring 3 & 4 we just enabled Custom Gamerpics on your console. It can take an hour to appear or reboot to see it!

According to the Xbox team, Custom Gamerpics were a top fan-requested feature on Xbox Live, and the new customization option previously rolled out to the Windows 10 Xbox app as well as the Xbox beta app on Android. As a reminder, you’ll need to choose a .png or .jpg image which is at least 1080×1080 pixels, and the easiest way to import it is to save it first on an a USB flash drive that you’ll plug into the gaming console.
