While the Xbox One X may lack the first party exclusives most major new consoles use as a purchase crutch initially, Microsoft seems to be banking on the device’s horsepower to turn current games into ‘like-new’ experiences.

Head of Xbox Games and Marketing Arron Greenberg just announced via Twitter that Xbox One X owners can now experience Destiny 2 in 4K Ultra HD and HDR thanks to console enhancements.

Seems as though the tipping point for 4K console gaming is on the horizon for Xbox gamers. All that’s left now is to buy yourself a brand new 4K enabled TV to get the most out of your Xbox One X console, be it gaming or Netflix.
