If you ever get a Discovery Plus error 400, you won’t be able to use the Discovery service and watch your favorite shows. However, there’s an easy way to fix this problem, and today we’ll show you how to do it.
Why is my Discovery Plus not working?
This is usually caused by glitches on your device. Sometimes there can also be problems with the Sky service that are causing it.
How can I fix Discovery Plus error 400?
Before trying anything else, try resetting your Discovery Plus password and try to log in with a new password. If you’re using Sky STB, turn it off, disconnect it from the power outlet for 10 minutes, and connect it again.
1. Remove devices from your Discovery Plus account
- Log in to your Discovery Plus account on your browser.
- Go to Account.
- Click on Manage Devices.
- Remove all devices.
- Next, open the Discovery Plus app again and log in with the QR code.
2. Perform a reset
- Press the Home button on your Sky remote.
- Select Settings.
- Next, choose System Management and then Resets & updates and Factory reset.
- Select the factory reset option.
- When the screen goes black, press 4 and 6 on our remote for 3 seconds to unpair the remote.
- Wait for the process to finish.
3. Perform a soft reset on Glass TV
- Disconnect your device from the outlet.
- Press and hold the Power button on the device.
- After 20 seconds plug in the TV but don’t release the Power button.
- Once the red light flashes on the TV, let go of the Power button.
- Press 1 and 3 simultaneously to pair your remote again.
As you can see, this issue usually affects Sky users, and in most cases, a quick reset will fix the problem.
This isn’t the only issue and many encountered Authentication error 403 in Discovery Go, but we have a separate guide that addresses this issue.
We also have to mention that it’s possible to watch Discovery Plus outside the US, but a few users reported that Discovery Plus is not working with VPN, but that can be easily fixed.
