Xbox Vapor wireless controller

Following the tremendous success of the Stormcloud Vapor Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller, Microsoft has decided to expand the Vapor series with six new exciting colors and unique swirling patterns.

The available colors are Fire Vapor (fiery Red & Orange swirl ), Electric Vapor (Green), Stormcloud Vapor (Blue), Dream Vapor (Purple), and Cyber Vapor (Pink & Purple), and Nocturnal Vapor(Dark Green and Grey). You can grab one for yourselves from the Xbox Design Lab.

In a post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft stated:

What you’ll find unique about this Special Edition controller is the inclusion of purple rubberized side grips, soft pink ABXY buttons with purple accents, and an exclusive Dynamic Background that brings this amazing design over to your Xbox Series X|S console.

However, that’s not all; there are customization options, too. You can now select the color of the body, & back, select the rubberized rear & side grips, bumpers, and triggers, and customize the D-pad, buttons, & thumbstick. You also get an option to engrave your name or anything you like.

The base model is priced at $69.99 & after customization, the price can go up to $109.93. The delivery of these controllers will start on February 6, 2024.

The Vapor series offers a subtle and textured look that is truly unique, and with extensive customization options, the controllers can be personalized as per your style.

These controllers come with incredible features of the next-gen Bluetooth controllers, like up to 40 hours of gameplay battery life, a Share button, Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless connection, and compatibility with the Xbox Accessories app, ensuring an immersive gaming experience.

Additionally, they are compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and even iOS and Android devices.

With this, the Redmond tech giant also announced another product, The Vapor Hoodie, for as part of their Xbox Icon Collection, in 3 print colors: Fire Vapor, Electric Vapor, and Cyber Vapor. You can get them from the Xbox Gear Shop.

I opted for the Stormcloud Vapor with rubberized grips. Which one would you choose? Tell us in the comments section below.
