What else can be said about Elden Ring, except that most people consider this title to be an actual masterpiece?
That it’s a terrible game, a rip-off, a buggy disappointment, or that it’s a complete waste of time. At least, that’s what the other people are saying about Bandai Namco’s latest game.
Whichever side you want to take, make sure that you at least try it, as the adventures and foes in Elden Ring are both really fun, and incredibly challenging.
However, on the off chance you do decide to take it for a test drive and have to deal with all sorts of bugs and errors, you came to the right place.
Lately, a lot of Elden Ring users have been complaining about not being able to summon ashes in the game, such as the wolves or the jellyfish.
Before you do that though, you have to keep in mind that there are certain things you have to consider when summoning.
Why can’t I summon ashes in Elden Ring?
Not being able to summon wolves, jellyfish, or other help in Elden Ring can be very frustrating.
It’s true that it isn’t always obvious why players can’t use ashes to get help from spirits, which can lead to confusion, anger, and rage quits.
Generally, gamers can’t summon spirits in Elden Ring because they are in an area where they can’t summon, they don’t have enough FP for the summon cost, or they don’t yet have the Spirit Calling Bell.
When you are in an area where spirit summoning is available, a purple icon appears on the left side of the screen.
Needless to say, if you aren’t in one of the above-mentioned areas, you will never ever be able to do that.
How can I fix this?
Usually, this is down to players not knowing enough about the summoning ritual in order to properly perform it and get the results they want.
There have been documented cases in which all the criteria were fulfilled, but the feature still wouldn’t work. All that was fixed with a simple restart of Elden Ring.
If that’s not the case for you, just make sure you look for the purple icon on the left side of the screen to know when you can summon.
Also, either use your flash to recover FP or level up to get more max FP. These are pretty much the choices you are looking at right now.
