Good news Fallout fans! Bethesda is working on a next-gen version of Fallout 4, and we expect to see it soon.

So will this game be just a next-gen remaster or will it bring some new content to the game? Keep on reading to find out!

Fallout 4 next-gen upgrade is almost here, and it’s free!

The next-gen version of the game is scheduled to get a next-gen release as Glitched writes.

The good news is that the upgrade will be free for all existing Fallout 4 owners, so you won’t have to purchase the game again.

As for improvements, the game will offer Performance and Quality modes on both platforms, as well as increased resolution and texture quality. According to Bethesda, both modes are playable up to 60FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

There is some good news for last-gen owners since they will get a free update with stability improvements and quest fixes.

Last but not least, PC gamers will get a patch with various new settings such as widescreen and ultra-widescreen support. The patch will also feature Creation Kit and quest bug fixes.

As for new content, the following Creation Club packs will be included:

  • Enclave Remnants – A new quest line that brings Enclave to the game, along with Enclave armor and weapons.
  • Makeshift Weapon Pack – This content pack converts all sorts of unusual items into weapons.
  • Halloween Workshop – Even though the Halloween season has passed, with this pack you can add Halloween decorations to your settlements.

Regarding the availability, the next-gen update is expected to drop on April 25 on next-gen consoles as well as Epic Games Store.

In other news, the new GTA+ price for Xbox users has caused a lot of controversy. If you’re an Xbox fan, you should know that the Xbox dashboard and party are coming to the web.
