Solution 5: Update DVD driver

reg.exe add “HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetServicesatapiController0” /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001

  • Hit the ‘Enter’ key afterwards.
  • Reboot your computer.

Solution 8: Create a new registry subkey

Also, you can create a registry key for DVD drive in order to fix ‘LG DVD player not working on Windows 10’ problem.

Here’s how to do this:

  • Log in to Windows with an account that has administrator priviledges.
  • Press Windows key + R.
  • In the Run command box, type in ‘regedit’ without quotes, and then hit ‘Enter’ key.
