The Galaxy Book 4 series that got leaked last year debuted in early 2024. The laptop lineup has four different models. But, now it seems Samsung could launch one more laptop under the umbrella of the Galaxy Book 4 series i.e. Galaxy Book 4 Edge.
Although it has been reported that there are a total of three variants, the specs and images of only two variants, Galaxy Book 4 Edge and Edge Pro, have been leaked online. Both are Samsung’s only Galaxy Book series laptops to feature a Snapdragon X-powered processor.
Leaked specifications of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge lineup
According to a recent report from WinFuture, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge comes with two screen sizes i.e. 14-inch and 16-inch. As you can guess, the 16-inch is the beefier version of the two and is called Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro.
It packs a bigger battery, a full-fledged keyboard, and extra USB ports. More importantly, the Snapdragon X Elite chipset powers this laptop.
Whereas, the smaller sibling Galaxy Book 4 Edge packs a low-end chip from the Snapdragon X lineup under the hood. It comes with two USB Type-C ports, possibly USB 4.0, an HDMI port, and a TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard.
The Pro variant on the other hand has an additional USB-A port as well as a microSD card slot. Both the laptops feature backlit keys as well as large trackpads.
Talking of display, both flaunt Super AMOLED screens with 3K resolution and a peak brightness of 400 nits. Not to forget, both will ship with 16GB RAM, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard.
That said, there’s no mention of the webcam configuration and storage of these Windows 11 laptops. The 14-inch variant will likely cost $1800, the bigger one could cost even more.
