It’s been a while but it looks like Gamerscore leaderboards are finally returning to the Xbox mobile apps in the very near future. The announcement was made by Microsoft’s Larry Hryb this morning who revealed on his personal Twitter account that the feature was currently being tested in the Beta version of the iOS Xbox app.
Those users who are currently testing the Xbox Beta app on iOS should be able to see the new leaderboard today.

Leaderboards that rank friends by how much Gamerscore they’ve earned in a current month have long been a staple of the Xbox gaming experience and were present in previous versions of the Xbox mobile and PC apps. They were removed, however, as part of the recent design revamp which was considered very odd by most as the feature has been a favorite of gamers ever since it was introduced.
